Thanksgiving is almost here! So, to help you prepare, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite Thanksgiving decoration ideas for your kitchen in 2019.
#1 Fall produce… with some extra glamour
Pumpkins, gourds and corn are all classic Thanksgiving decorations. But youdon’t have to go with the rustic, harvest home style.
Break out the gold and silver spray paint to glam up your fall produce. Or try this idea from Good Housekeeping: hollow out a pumpkin and use it as a vase for fresh flowers.
#2 Get creative with brown paper
Let the family express themselves at Thanksgiving dinner. Instead of using a tablecloth, lay down a sheet of brown paper and encourage people to draw or write messages. This is a great way for people to share what they’re thankful for – and it keeps the kids entertained. Best of all? There’s no cloth to wash afterwards, and the paper is recyclable.
#3 Autumn leaves
Try scattering fall leaves in red, yellow and orange on your table. You can use natural leaves, or if you’d prefer, you can get artificial leaves. Think about creating a Thanksgiving door wreath or garlands from paper or artificial leaves, too. Finally, bring out those beautiful autumn colors with matching napkins or candles in warm, glowing shades.
#4 Dried flower arrangements
Autumn isn’t the best season for fresh flowers, but you can still create beautiful, fresh arrangements. Get some dried or preserved flowers to decorate your home and table, fall-style. A fall pot-pourri or dried flower arrangement will also make a lovely addition to your kitchen and bathroom countertops.
